Disappointed to find out by reading his book that Stephen J. King (whom we loved to hear as a pastor at Harvey Church in Florida) is a universalist.
A wonderful source of enlightenment for those experiancing a loss. Very well written.A great guide to over come the challenges life throws our way.
An inspiring, hopeful and amazing book on the pains and recovery of divorce and other painful things that come our way in life. A must read.
This book by Pastor Steve is an excellent resource for anyone who has gone through or is currently going through a divorce. His writing is honest, sensitive, humble and faith filled.
I have been divorced for 2 years now, and wish I had this book two years ago! Stephen King's book provides practical advice for working through the emotional and financial challenges you face going through divorce. I appreciate his faith based perspective, but it is not preachy and i would recommend the for anyone.
Pastor King writes a candid account of a painful life experience and shares his personal path to recovery and renewal in such a way that one can reflect on their own experiences and apply the concepts learned to work through the healing process. This book brings hope to those filled with despair over divorce, but I found the concepts equally beneficial to anyone who is suffering from any type of grief or loss. It is message of faith and demonstrates that there is happiness to be found when you walk through the process.
Steve King really digs deep and shares his first hand experience to enlighten and inspire. I read the book as Pastor Steve has been one the most inspiring pastors I have followed over the years, both before and now after his divorce. His advice is genuine, his candor is appreciated and his ability to share the message of hope is a great gift. If you have suffered through a divorce or felt the weight of a bad decision in your(relationship) life I highly recommend the read! Thank you for recognizing your gift, hugging that Monster and finding the strength to preach again Pastor Steve!
