The Other Side of Secret is an ongoing fantasy series that follows a young man hoping to save his sister and atone for his mistakes after crossing over into a strange fantasy world of magic and monsters.

Volume 4 of The Other Side of Secret is final volume of the series. It manages to wrap a lot of plot threads without feeling to rushed. One really nice thing is we finally get to know who Manami is after waiting this long and it turns out she is the main focus of the volume. She was not what I thought she would be like but she was definitely quirky. As sucker for happy endings, all I will say is I was satisfied with the conclusion of the series.As for volume itself, the art is clean and crisp as usual. There was zero gore, unlike the past volumes and fan service was kept to a minimum. There were a few typos though, including one line that I have no idea what was being said.
As a whole The Other Side of Secret has been an enjoyable read. It was good shonen with a horror twist. That while not being a top tier shonen, manages to be entertaining and tell a complete story which is a huge plus for a genre that tends to rush toward their conclusions. If your looking for a shorter shonen, I can easily recommend The Other Side of Secret.

Good but really short
3 stars because as I did love this Manga series I believe they ended it in a rather lazy way. They could have easily allowed it to expand by 2 more volumes explaining further into the story before ending it, instead they skipped vital pieces of the story and just ended it. That being said I do hope it gets an anime adaption that will further the story.
A complex story that manages to have comedy, action, mystery and even horror elements. Characters are interesting and complex, with the story having many twists. The art style, including character, world and monsters are very detailed and beautifully drawn.
